APPLICATIONS:
TED University, Urban Design Master's Program is primarily open to students of the following departments:
- City and Regional Planning
- Architecture
- Landscape Architecture
- Interior Architecture and Environmental Design
- Visual Communication Design
- Industrial Design
Students applying from other disciplines (engineering, sociology, psychology, etc.) can be accepted to the program if they meet the necessary requirements. These students will receive a scientific preparatory education before starting the program.
Evaluation Criteria for Applications
Cumulative Grade Point Average: 20 %
Interview Score and Portfolio = 30 %
ALES Score= 50 % (min ALES:55, GRE 151)

Please upload the following documents with your application.
- An up-to-date resume.
- A scanned copy of the transcript from the most recent undergraduate institution.
- A portfolio copy (In addition to the digital copy uploaded to the system, printed copy of the portfolio can be submitted to the jury).
- Letter of intention.
- A scanned copy of the ALES /GRE score document. (International applicants may submit GRE scores instead of ALES.)
- Two reference letters. The reference letters can be sent to mud@tedu.edu.tr.
- An undergraduate diploma / student certificate (for graduands)
- English proficiency certificate (TOEFL-IBT, TOEFL-PBT,+TWE, KPDS, ÜDS, YDS, YÖKDİL, UCLES). Click here for the equivalency table. https://els.tedu.edu.tr/esdegerlik
*All candidates who do not have an English Proficiency Certificate can take the TED University "English Proficiency Exam (EPE)". If the English Proficiency Certificate is not available at the time of application, it must be obtained by the registration date.
All students should have their English proficiency documentation approved by the English Language School before submitting it to the institute.
** Applicant should provide a (digital or a printed copy) portfolio at the interview.
Scholarships:
Scholarships at various levels (50-100%) can be provided for students based on their success level in terms of the admission criteria of the program. Click here for scholarship regulations.
